  1. Cell Modifiers
  2. The  first  character  in  a  cell  can have special
  3. meanings:
  4.  
  5. '    - String follows (left justified)
  6. ^    - String follows (centered)
  7. "    - String follows (right justified)
  8. =    - Formular follows
  9. \    - Repeat the second character many times.
  10. A..z - String left justified (' is added)
  11. 0..9 - Number
  12. -    - Negative number

  14. NOTES:
  15.  
  16. *  The  first character in a string is not displayed
  17. (the ^'" etc).
  18. *  If  you want a number on screen, but you want the
  19. spreadsheet to treat it as a string, then just stick
  20. a ' (or a ^") before the number.
